Presentation on «Review of the situation with narcotic drugs in Tajikistan in 2015»
Dushanbe, 10.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A regular presentation on “Review of the situation with narcotic drugs in the Republic of Tajikistan in 2015” was held on May 6 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to MFA Information Department, the Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Huseynzoda has opened the ceremony and the Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherkhon Salimzoda has made a presentation regarding the combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs in the country.
“During the event Ms. Ashita Mittal, Regional Representative of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Central Asia, delivered her speech and praised the cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UNODC in fighting illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs”, — reads the statement of the ministry.
In the event the representatives of ministries and the state departments, diplomatic corps, foreign and national mass media also have participated.
