SCO Deputy Secretary-General to head SCO Mission of Observers for the national referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 21.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov here on Friday received the delegation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Mission of observers headed by SCO Deputy Secretary-General Wang Kaiwen.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, Foreign minister expressed his gratitude to SCO Member States and the SCO Secretariat for organizing this mission in order to monitor the preparation and holding of a national referendum of the Republic of Tajikistan on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, which will be held on May 22.
During the meeting the sides also considered the current state and prospects of development of relations, as well as other issues of cooperation within the framework of this dynamic organization.
