Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pays an official visit to Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 24.05.2016 / NIAT “Khovar” /.The Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh is arriving in Dushanbe today for an official visit
During the visit, Speaker of the Shura Council is scheduled to hold talks with Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli (Upper House of Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli (Lower House of Parliament) Shukurjon Zuhurov, Foreign minister of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Aslov to discuss a range of issues to strengthen mutually beneficial for Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s multilateral cooperation, especially parliamentary relations.
The main purpose of the visit of the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh to Tajikistan is to strengthen parliamentary ties and expand effective trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
As well, a high-level delegation is also expected to visit ancient city of Hisor and Varzob gorge.
