Tajikistan-Kuwait to strengthen and enhance bilateral relations
Dushanbe, 19.05.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the State of Kuwait the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country /CCI RT/ Sharif Said met with the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait Ali Mohammed Thunayan Al-Ghanim.
According to CCI RT, the main topics of negotiations were the issues of strengthening and expansion of contacts across the spectrum of bilateral relations. Special emphasis was made on trade-economic aspects of cooperation.
During the meeting it was noted that the Middle East direction is considered one of the priority directions for CCI of Tajikistan. CCI maintains the relations within the framework of cooperation with the OIC, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait, Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
