CIS Heads of Government Council to meet in Bishkek
Dushanbe, 01.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. The meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council will take place in Bishkek on 7 June.
According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the agenda of the meeting will include more than 20 draft documents. The majority of them make part of the economic sector. It is expected that the heads of government will consider matters concerning the enhancement of efficiency of the free trade zone, expansion of innovative cooperation, collaboration in electric power industry, transportation of radioactive sources, preservation of agro and biodiversity and also chemical industry.
The meeting will discuss the 2020 population census in the CIS member states.
Cooperation in healthcare will also be on agenda of the meeting. Up for discussion is draft strategy Population Health in the CIS Member States, the draft cooperation concept to combat oncological diseases, and the program on cooperation in the prevention and treatment of diabetes for 2016-2020.
The heads of government will talk over the organization of the international exhibition Artexpo which will provide a review of the CIS achievements in culture and art and is aimed at strengthening humanitarian cooperation.
The meeting will also consider draft decisions on awarding a number of educational establishments with the status of the CIS basic organization in youth affairs, development of youth entrepreneurship, training specialists for demining activities, enhancing qualifications of the personnel in the chemical sector, studies of military metrology matters and the scientific and technical support of the transport complex development.
The heads of government will also discuss draft decisions on introducing amendments to the unified budget of the CIS bodies and results of documentary audits.
