EU Delegation, OSCE and the World Tourism Organization to visit Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 02.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Next week, the high-level delegations of the European Union, OSCE and the World Tourism Organization are expected to visit Tajikistan.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, in particular Ambassador Heidemaria Gurer, Director of the Department for Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, Southern Caucasus and Central Asia at Austria’s Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs will arrive in Dushanbe on June 6 for participation in bilateral political consultations between Tajikistan and Austria.
A delegation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) led by Ambassador Marcel Peṧko, Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, will also arrive in Dushanbe on June 6 for participation in a Task Force Meeting on the OSCE’s role in Tajikistan.
The Human Rights Dialogue between the EU and the Republic of Tajikistan will be held June 8-11, 2016, to be attended by the head of department for Central Asia of the European External Action Service Toivo Klaar.
The Head of Central Asia Division at the European External Action Service (EEAS) Toivo Klaar is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on June 8 for participation in the eighth round of the annual Human Rights Dialogue between the EU and Tajikistan.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Secretary-General, Dr. Taleb Rifai will also pay a working visit to Tajikistan from June 9-11.
