Italy won over Sweden at Euro 2016 group stage
Dushanbe, 18.06.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Italy are through to the last 16 after beating Sweden 1-0 at the group stage match of the 2016 UEFA Euro Cup on Friday in the French city of Toulouse.
Eder scored two minutes from fulltime to put Italy at the top of Group E on six points after two matches following their 2-0 win over Belgium in their opening game.
In the next tour, on June 21 Turkey will play Czech Republic and the Croatia will the same day play Spain.
The 2016 UEFA Euro Cup is held in France between June 10 and July 10 with matches played in 10 different locations, namely in Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse.
A total of 24 European national teams qualified for the Euro Cup final tournament in 2016, after the contestants’ format, which was used since 1996, was decided to be extended from 16 to 24 teams.
