Tajik Taekwondo Athletes Win Two Bronze Medals at Asian Championship in Malaysia

DUSHANBE, 30.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes secured two bronze medals at the Asian Taekwondo Championship for juniors and youth in Kuching, Malaysia.
Tajik athlete Bahodur Abdudzhafar won victories in the under-55 kg weight category against competitors from Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, and India, before losing in the semifinals to a Thai opponent and claiming a bronze medal.
Female athlete Oliya Murodova triumphed in the under-37 kg junior category, defeating opponents from Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan in the first two rounds. She was defeated in the semifinals by a South Korean athlete, earning Tajikistan its second bronze medal.
The championship features participants from 42 countries worldwide.
