Meeting with the Tajik-Israeli Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group took place in Dushanbe today
Dushanbe, 02.06.2016 / NIAT “Khovar” /. A meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinov with a parliamentary delegation of the state of Israel, led by head of Israeli — Tajik Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group of Knesset Sherri Haskell took place in Dushanbe today.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of Israel to the Republic of Tajikistan Carmela Shamir.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides discussed state and prospects of Tajik-Israeli relations in the fields of economy, agriculture, energy and industry, healthcare, education, tourism, science and culture.
In this context, the sides noted the need to expand the legal framework of bilateral cooperation and intensification of contacts between the business circles of the two countries.
The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
