Dushanbe, 26.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to get familiarized with the available production capacities and achievements of the social and economic spheres visited Shughnon district of GBAO.
The Leader of the Nation was met by leadership and residents of Shughnon district with a special hospitality and warmth.
The working visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Shughnon district began with the opening of the secondary education institution for 464 students in one shift, which has been constructed in the village of Kushk.
This secondary education institution has been built as part of a creative policy of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon, in accordance with international standards.
The construction works of a modern school were launched in June 2015 and more than 140 construction workers have been involved in them.
The modern school project was implemented by the third phase of the project «Reconstruction and the continued construction of the schools» co-funded by the Government of Tajikistan and the Islamic Development Bank in the amount of 1 million 802 thousand US dollars.
During the familiarization the Head of State first inspected the classrooms adapted to modern educational conditions.
The school is planned for 464 pupils in one shift, has 24 classrooms, a sports hall with 140 seats, a library with 5 thousand copies of textbooks and literature, modern electronic library with 22 computers, constant internet access, a conference hall for 170 seats, a sports ground for football, volleyball and basketball, as well as educational and industrial classes, including sewing, confectionery, carpentry skills, a modern dining room with 120 seats, a medical office, including the dentist’s office and the pediatrician.
