Tajikistan and Belarus to deepen bilateral trade-economic cooperation
Dushanbe, 09.06.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan /CCI RT/ Sharif Said has received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov.
According to CCI RT, during the meeting the issues of deepening of bilateral trade-economic cooperation and expansion of inter-regional cooperation by the holding of exhibitions and business forums with the participation of Tajik and Belarusian business.
The sides have noted the necessity of enhancing practical efforts to stimulate the contacts between the Belarusian and Tajik business circles in the most promising sectors, such as hydropower, transport and communications, housing construction, textile and food processing industry.
At the end of the meeting Sharif Said has informed about the holding of International universal exhibition “Tajikistan-2016”, which will be held on July 22-24, 2016 in the city of Dushanbe, and noted that the participation of Belarusian businessmen and companies in the exhibition would contribute to achieving these goals.
