The fifth meeting of the intergovernmental Commissionon economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan
Dushanbe, 20.06.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On June 15-16, Underthe co-chairmanship of the Minister for Energy and Water Resources of theRepublic of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda and Minister for Water and Power ofthe Islamic Republic of Pakistan Khwaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad was held fifthmeeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and TechnicalCooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic ofPakistan.
The meeting was attended by representatives ofministries and departments of Tajikistan and Pakistan, who are responsible forthe energy sector, economic development and trade, industry, transport andothers.
Actingas co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission, the two ministers discussedtopical issues in their bilateral trade and economic and further expansion of the legal framework, thedevelopment of cooperation in energy, transport, industry and other sectors.
