Dushanbe, 27.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon continued today his working visit to Ishkoshim district of GBAO Region.
The Leader of the Nation was met by the leadership and the people of this remote mountainous region with a special sincerity and hospitality at the aerodrome of the Border Detachment of the Main Directorate of Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan located in Ishkoshim district.
President Emomali Rahmon in the framework of the visit to Ishkoshim district got familiarized with the living conditions of border guards. It was noted that this year the duty stations, educational facilities and buildings of the Border Detachment of Ishkoshim have completely been renovated with the assistance and support of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
In addition, special groups have been created in order to ensure security, strengthen the border posts and observation points, provide timely assistance at the state border line. The border protection staff has been provided with modern military equipment and weapons applicable in the mountainous conditions for a timely and effective fulfillment of the combat tasks.
