Tajik-Chinese geological services agreed to conduct geological studies
Dushanbe, 20.07.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of conducting joint geological studies and training of specialists were discussed at the meeting of the leadership of the Main Department of Geology of Tajikistan with the delegation of Chinese Geological Service led by the Deputy Head of this Service Wang Yang.
According to the press service of the Main Department of Geology under the Government of the country, during the meeting the issues of further cooperation, particularly regarding the completion of geological exploration in promising areas at the border areas have also been discussed.
It should be recalled that the parties cooperate according to the “Cooperation Agreement for joint exploration work at the border areas”, which was signed on November 25, 2010, and achieved significant results in this direction.
