Tajikistan participates at the “Asia in dance”
Dushanbe, 29.08.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Group of dance ensemble “Bazmoro” and national specialists on cultural heritage will take part at “Asia in dance” festival , which began on August 27 in Korea.
As NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press center of the Ministry of Culture of the country, national ethnic dances have been presented by the representatives of Korea, China, Tajikistan, India, Mongolia, Indonesia, and Senegal.
According to organizers, the festival aims to strengthen cultural ties, to familiarize Korea with national dances of Asian countries, promote cultural and dance values, and their role in the rapprochement among peoples and strengthening of peace and tranquility in the region and the world.
The Festival will also host international forums and conferences with participation of specialists from different countries under the leadership of Liu Lifu, the head of the Chinese dance group and Professor of Bambang Kristiono from the University of Jakarta.
The experts of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will make reports on the topic “Protection of ethnic dance in Asia as intangible cultural heritage and sustainable development”.
The festival “Asian dance” will be held in four cities of Korea until September 3.
