Tajikistan ranked first at the top of the medals per athlete
Dushanbe, 23.08.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajikistan in the medal standings by the number of participants at the Olympic Games ranked first place in the world. It should be noted that in this list the gold medal counts as 4 points, silver 2 points and bronze 1 point.
Olympic team of Tajikistan, consisting of 7 athletes, with one gold medal ranks first. Second place went to USA Olympic team (554 athletes – 46 gold, 37 silver, and 38 bronze medals), and third place to Olympic team of Azerbaijan (56 athletes – 1 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze medals).
