Tajikistan attends 3rd ministerial meeting of the Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council Strategic Dialogue

On April 16, 2025, the Third Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Strategic Dialogue of Central Asian and Gulf Cooperation Council States was held in Kuwait City, in which the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Ismatullo Nasredin took part.
During his speech, Ismatullo Nasredin emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Central Asian countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council in the areas of trade, economy, investment, transport, education and science, healthcare, energy, sports and tourism, and considered it important to strengthen and expand relations in these areas.
It was noted that based on the latest initiative and the relevant UN resolution, 2025 has been declared the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, and March 21 — World Day for Glaciers. On this occasion, the first high-level international conference on the preservation of glaciers in Tajikistan will be held in Dushanbe on May 29-31. In this regard, I. Nasredin called those present to actively participate in this high-level international conference.
