Ambassador of Tajikistan to Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi on September 13 met with Kiuchi Hitoshi, Member of House of Representatives of National Diet of Japan.

According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, Mr. Kiuchi Hitoshi expressed gratitude to the Government of Tajikistan for the support on the Resolution to establish “World Tsunami Awareness Day” on November 5th, which was adopted at the United Nations General Assembly and handed appreciation letter of Mr. Toshihiro Nikai, Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party addressed to the Ambassador of Tajikitsan.

The sides discussed issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as the need to continue to promote the strengthening of friendly relations and mutually beneficial partnership between Tajikistan and Japan on bilateral level and in the international arena.
