President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian Lays a Wreath at the Ismoil Somoni Monument in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 15.01.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, as part of his state visit to Tajikistan, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian laid a floral wreath at the monument of the founder of the first Tajik state Ismoil Somoni in Dushanbe as a sign of respect for the history of statehood, culture and civilization of the Tajik nation.
In this ceremony, President Pezeshkian was accompanied by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
The top level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Iran are expected as part of visit of the Iranian Leader.
A package of documents is expected to be signed as a result of the talks.
The Trade, Investment and Tourism Forum of Tajikistan and Iran is also planned to be held.
