Leader of the Nation received the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov
Dushanbe, 24.10.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, at the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov.
During the meeting the two sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on security issues.
The two sides exchanged views on joint work in ensuring security and stability on the territory of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and the region, as well as the strengthening of the capacity and capability of border troops.
A thorough exchange of views took place on a number of questions of mutual concern, including on joint cooperation on the fight against international terrorism, extremism, prevention and suppression of transnational organized crime, illicit drug trafficking, effective responses to organized criminal groups.
Special attention was devoted to strengthening bilateral cooperation to provide a comprehensive national security and expansion of cooperation between the special services of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
