Tajikistan, UK discuss current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation
Dushanbe, 25.10.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On October 25, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda has received the members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Tajikistan and Great Britain Mr. Nigel Mills and Mr. John Mann, Tajik MFA Information Department reports.
“During the meeting the parties discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”, — reads the statement.
Moreover, the sides expressed interest in further development of mutually beneficial relations in the areas of mutual significance.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Tajikistan Hugh Stanly Philpott also participated at the meeting.
