Today, at Rahmon Nabiev Street, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon attended a ceremony of an official opening of a new multi-storey residential building for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The President of the country also laid a cornerstone for construction of one more apartment building for police officers.

Head of State Emomali Rahmon in a solemn atmosphere has handed over keys of new apartments to a number of happy police officers and admonished them for faithful service in the name of protecting interests of the people and the state.

The inaugurating of residential buildings is a logical continuation of the social policy of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon aimed at improving the social conditions of law enforcement officers.

Likewise, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon visited the State Institution of the Republican school of higher sports skills in combat.

The sports complex has a large gymnasium with 1,000 seats, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, mini-football, locker rooms, operating rooms, showers and heating system. It renovated the opportunity for competitions of national and international levels.

President Emomali Rahmon got familiar with the conditions of the sports complex, gave helpful recommendations to responsible persons for the development of sports, attracting young people to the various sports, promotion of healthy lifestyles.
