Parliament approved preferences for representations of Tajik and Chinese airlines
Dushanbe, 02.11.2016 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan have ratified the Agreement between the Governments of the Republic of Tajikistan and People’s Republic of China on civil aviation, according to which representative offices of the airlines of the two neighboring countries are exempted from customs duties, taxes and other payments for the import of spare parts, other aircraft equipment.
Sherali Ganjalzoda, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, having commented this issue in Parliament of the country, noted that this agreement signed in 2007 in Beijing, serves to strengthen cooperation between Tajikistan and China in the field of civil aviation. According to him, ratification of the agreement promotes the economic development of the country, especially in the field of tourism.
