Leader of the Nation returns home after state visits to Sri Lanka and India
DUSHANBE, 18.12.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A few hours ago Somon Air Boeing, which this morning flew off from New Delhi, landed in Dushanbe International Airport. The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has returned home from India.
As we have earlier informed, the Head of State was on state visits in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of India on December 12-18, 2016. Leader of the Nation in the course of these visits has met with heads of states and governments of these two South Asian developed countries, as well as attended business forums and made a speech. For the development of relations between Tajikistan-Sri Lanka and Tajikistan-India were signed new cooperation agreements in various fields.
The media of Sri Lanka and India called state visits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to these countries as good and friendly, as well as commended their results as successful.
