Starting from today the regions of Tajikistan to get electricity by 18 hours per day
DUSHANBE, 06.01.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the electricity supply in the regions of the country increased by one more hour. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by Nosir Yodgori, head of press center of the OSHC “Barki Tojik”.
“Now, according to the new schedule, from January 6 the regions will be provided with electricity by 18 hours per day — from 05:00 am to 23:00 pm. It has become possible thanks to commissioning of the second phase of “Dushanbe-2” CHP plant, as well as in connection with favorable weather conditions. After the launching of the second phase the capacity of the “Dushanbe-2” CHP plant has increased to 400 MW that allows daily to produce up to 9.6 kW/h of electricity. CHP plant produces 235 gigacalories of heat”, — said the source.
On January 5, the day time energy limit has been completely canceled in the regions of Tajikistan, then the regions got electricity by 17 hours per day — from 05:00 am to 22:00 pm. Even earlier the electricity was supplied to regions only by 12 hours per day.
The limit on the electricity consumption in the regions of the country has officially been introduced since November 1, 2016. The restrictions have not touched only the capital and administrative centers of the country.
