Planning of Future Projects in Gender Issues Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The prospects for further cooperation were discussed by the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Rustam Nazarzoda and the Head of the UN Women Office in Tajikistan Malika Jurakulova.
Nazarzoda informed the guests about the activities of the Committee, its structural divisions and international cooperation in the field of prevention and relief from natural disasters.
The meeting focused on the further development of interaction on issues of preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergency situations, and planning of future projects in the direction of gender issues.
It was noted that only close cooperation can achieve the effective implementation of the assigned tasks.
