Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, which reads as follows:

I have the honour to cordially congratulate you with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan.
Significant transformations have taken place in recent years in the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Japan that clearly indicate to the mutual desire to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between both countries in various fields of mutual interest.
We are expressing our satisfaction with the present level of relations with your country.
I am deeply convinced that we will continue to work together to be able to provide in the interests of our peoples progressive development of relations between our countries.
