Deputy PM Azim Ibrohim, Hungarian Ambassador Andras Baranyi discussed the issues of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation
DUSHANBE, 06.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. In the morning of February 3, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Tajikistan Andras Baranyi.
During the meeting the two parties, having discussed the issues related to bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, expressed interest in their further development. In this context, it was noted that this year marks 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and there are still a lot of opportunities for the development and strengthening of relations.
Hungarian Ambassador Baranyi, having presented to the Deputy Prime Minister of the country the Budapest Water Summit final documents that was held on November 29, 2016 in Budapest city, expressed gratitude for the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and official delegation of Tajikistan in this Forum.
Deputy Prime Minister, having mentioned the Resolution on proclaiming “International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028” adopted by the UN General Assembly that was proposed by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, assessed it as political and legal basis for the further expansion of international cooperation, including between the two countries in the field of water.
During the meeting the parties had also a constructive exchange of views on the issues of accepting students for study in Hungarian higher educational institutions, expanding cooperation between trading companies of the two countries and on other issues of mutual interest.
