«Your Excellency,
3rd of March will mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Tajikistan.
France has always been making considerable efforts for independence and sovereignty of Tajikistan. In this regard, I am pleased that during these twenty-five years our two countries have established strong political, economic and cultural ties.
I do not forget that Tajikistan received on its land the French military air force acting for the preservation of peace in Afghanistan.
I hope for the development and even greater expansion of our twenty-five-year friendly relations.
Accept the assurances of my highest consideration.»
