Foreign Minister meets Deputy Executive Secretary of UNESCAP
DUSHANBE, 18.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 16 met with the Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commissions for Asia and Pacific (ESCAP) Hongjoo Hahm.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and ESCAP, as well as strengthening of regional and subregional cooperation in the field of transport, integration and connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region have been discussed.
The parties have also discussed engagement and participation at the forthcoming 73rd session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific to be held in Bangkok from 15 to 19 May 2017.
