Governments of Tajikistan and Japan exchanged notes
DUSHANBE, 10.03.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The ceremony of signing of Exchange of notes between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Japan on projects to improve the operation of the substations in Dushanbe and to improve the infrastructure of the Dushanbe International Airport (Phase 2) took place here in Dushanbe on Thursday March 9.
According to the MFA Information Department, the documents were signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan Hajime Kitaoka.
The project “Strengthening the national family planning services for the period 2017-2020” was also signed by the Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan, the Representative of the United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA) in Uzbekistan and Country Director in Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
