Hajime Kitaoka handed over Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Tajikistan Judo Federation
DUSHANBE, 30.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Hajime KITAOKA, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan on March 30 handed over Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Tajikistan Judo Federation. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan.
«Since its establishment, Tajikistan Judo Federation has been taking an active part in improving the training conditions for judo wrestlers and spreading judo in the country. At the beginning only a few people practiced judo, but now the number of judo players reached 5000 people in the country and the Judo Federation has grown the first Olympic medalists. Therefore, the Commendation was awarded to Tajikistan Judo Federation for its merits in the development of judo, as one of the most popular sports in the country», — reads the message of the embassy.
“In recent years, within the framework of international relations, more and more people are making significant progress in various fields and are making an invaluable contribution to strengthening friendship between Japan and other countries. On the one hand, the Commendation is awarded to those individuals and organizations that have made maximum efforts to achieve high results, but on the other hand, it expresses a request for assistance to people who are directly involved in activities in this direction”- says the source.
It is also reported that Tajikistan Judo Federation became the first sport organization in Tajikistan who was awarded the Commendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
