DUSHANBE, 16.03.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received a message of congratulations from the Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, which reads in particular:

Malaysia and the Republic of Tajikistan have enjoyed warm and friendly relations since diplomatic relations were established in 1992.
At this significant milestone of the 25th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries, I am heartened to note the close and positive cooperation enjoyed between our governments, based on shared goals of achieving peace and progress for our nations, as well as common views on global issues. I am sure that the existing good relations between our two countries will continue.
I am also confident that under your wise and able leadership cooperation between Malaysia and Tajikistan will continue to flourish and further expanded.
