Navruz Holiday celebrated in USA
DUSHANBE, 23.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the USA by the support of the OJSC “Orienbank” and Tajik diasporas in the USA on March 19 held a cultural event dedicated to the Navruz Holiday and “Year of youth in Tajikistan”. Representatives of US Department of State, diplomatic corps and Tajik citizens residing in the USA participated at the event.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the event Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Farhod Salim, Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Daniel Rosenblum and the representatives of Tajik diasporas in DC, New York and California gave a speech and congratulated the participants on Navruz Holiday.
In addition, in the framework of Navruz celebration the cultural corner with national handcraft and “Haft sin” and “Haft-shin” was organized.
