DUSHANBE, 07.03.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, in Kokhi Borbad, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a sincere meeting with active women and girls traditionally on the eve of the holiday of Navruz on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

Head of the State Emomali Rahmon congratulated all those present and in their person all women and mothers of the country on the Mother’s
Day and the beginning of the awakening of nature.

The Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon noted that mother creates life, connects generations, she is the source of love and cordiality, she gives strength and life, and stressed that it is for this reason that the Tajik people, and, in general, all humanity, revere this unique and eternal image of mother, praises her greatness, always bow their head in front of her.

The solemn celebration of Mother’s Day at the state level was described by the President as an evidence of special attention and respect of the state and the Government of the country to mothers and women. According to the Head of State, the role of women and mothers is invaluable in the prosperity of the family, the education of children, the teaching of their native language, ethics and morality, the education of a high sense of self-awareness and self-knowledge, national sentiment and patriotic pride.
