Participation of the Leader of the Nation in campaign on planting seedlings in the city of Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 08.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. This morning, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Mother’s Day, following the good spring tradition and Navruz holiday, together with Rustami Emomali, Acting Chairman of Dushanbe city and Somoni Emomali, took part in the campaign of planting seedlings.
In today’s campaign to plant seedlings, which took place in the park of the State Emblem, the avenue of the capital’s Dusti Square, the Rudaki Park, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon together with his children planted mostly decorative and shady trees brought to Tajikistan from Europe.
In total, more than 430 unique and rare trees were planted today, including more than 70 chestnuts, 120 Kansas plums, 95 magnolias, 120 cypresses and junipers.
