Tajikistan, UNDP cooperation discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 07.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Muzaffar Huseinzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, on Monday March 6 received Pratibha Mehta, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the issues of current cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations Development Programme, implementation of projects and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for 2016-2020, as well as providing assistance to the realization of objectives of the National Development Strategy and SDG’s were discussed.
“The parties paid attention to 25 years of Tajikistan`s membership in the United Nations and agreed to hold joint events dedicated to this major occasion”, — reads the message of the ministry.
