Water and other resources of Tajikistan presented in Saudi Arabia
DUSHANBE, 15.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Zarobiddin Qosimi, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on March 14 held a briefing on the global initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water and the opportunities of attracting Arab investors and tourists.
According to the MFA Information Department, the briefing was held in one of the research centers on studying issues related to Russia and other former Soviet countries, with the participation of representatives of the media, scientists, researchers, government officials and a number of local businessmen.
During the analytical report of the Tajik diplomat and the discussion, the global initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water, including the Resolution on the “International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development” adopted in December 2016, by the UN decision on the next proposal of our country were highly appreciated.
Great interest was also aroused by the presentation of investment and tourist potential of Tajikistan among representatives of business in Saudi Arabia.
