Committee for Emergency Situations asks citizens to be careful
DUSHANBE, 05.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan informs citizens and guests of the country that according to the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Tajikistan, an unfavorable weather in the form of torrential rains and wet snow in the valleys will remain in the country until April 7. In the mountainous regions of the country will be storms and lightning (excluding GBAO). There is a risk of being struck by lightning.
There is also a threat of rising water level in the rivers and on the mountain roads of the country mudflows, rockfalls, and avalanches are possible.
In this regard, CESCD asks citizens to be careful on mountain roads, prepare their vehicle for travel, whenever possible to refrain from trips to dangerous areas, to do agricultural works, firewood and hunting in mountainous areas.
