DUSHANBE, 24.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Fixtures for the qualifying tournament of Asia-2018 among juniors (up to 16) and youth (up to 19) teams became known, which will be attended by the teams of our country. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

The qualifying tournament of the Asian Championship-2018 in group “B” with the participation of youth teams of Tajikistan, Oman, Syria, Turkmenistan, and Maldives will be held in our country on September 16-24. The junior team of Tajikistan under the leadership of head coach Zayniddin Rahimov in its opening match on September 16 will play against Syria.

From October 31 to November 8 Tajikistan will host the qualifying round of the Asian Championship — 2018 among youth teams up to 19 years in group “B”. In addition to our team, for a berth to the final part will compete the teams of Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Youth team of Tajikistan led by Vitaliy Levchenko will begin the qualifying round on October 31 against Bangladesh.

Following the results of qualifying tournaments of the Asian Championships — 2018 among juniors (U-16) and youth (U-16) teams to the final parts will advance the winners of the 10 groups and 5 teams that took second places in their groups with the best performance.
