DUSHANBE, 12.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Women’s team of Philippines for a tour to the finish of the Asian Cup – 2018 qualifiers in group “A” in Dushanbe, won a berth to the final stage of tournament.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, at the Asian Cup – 2018 qualifiers, which are held in Dushanbe, the women’s team of Tajikistan in the third and fourth rounds lost to the teams of Philippines (0:8) and Jordan (2:10).

The team of Philippines, having drawn with Bahrain (1:1), ahead of schedule won a berth to the final stage of the Asian Cup-2018.

The matches of the final round of the qualifying tournament in Dushanbe will be held today, April 12. Today will play Jordan – Philippines (beginning at 13:00 local time), UAE – Tajikistan (beginning at 16:00 local time) and Bahrain – Iraq (beginning at 19:00 local time).

Along with the Philippines a berth to the final stages of the Asian Cup — 2018 was gained also by the team of Thailand, which took first place in group “C”. Earlier to the final stage of the Asian Cup — 2018 automatically advanced Jordan (the hostess of the final stage), as well as 3 best teams of the last championship, which was held in 2014 in Vietnam, Japan, Australia and China.

Two more teams that will take part in the final stage of the Asian Cup — 2018, will be defined by the results of the qualifying matches in groups “B” and “D”.
