Tajikistan to Kick Off 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers with Home Match against East Timor

DUSHANBE, 13.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The national football team of Tajikistan will start the qualifying tournament of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup with a home match against East Timor.
The match will be held on March 25 next year in Dushanbe.
Following the results of the draw, Tajikistan ended up in Group A together with the Philippines, Maldives and East Timor.
In total, Tajik team will play six matches — five in 2025 and one more in March 2026.
It should be noted that only the winners of the six qualifying groups will reach the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.
