The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in connection with tragic consequences of the fire in Punjab province.

The President’s message reads, in particular:

“Excellencies,

We were deeply shocked to learn about the fire in Bahawalpur, Punjab province, that left dozens killed and injured a large number of people.

I express my profound sympathy to the families and friends of the victims. May the Almighty Allah grant them patience and a speedy recovery to the injured”.
