FIFA ranking included the women’s national team of Tajikistan for the first time
DUSHANBE, 28.06.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The women’s national team of Tajikistan for the first time has been included in the FIFA ranking.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, women’s national team of Tajikistan fell into the FIFA rankings thanks to the matches of the Asian Cup – 2018 qualifiers, which were played in April here in Dushanbe. In the qualifying round women’s team of the country has played 5 matches — one victory over Iraq (1:0) and five lost — by Bahrain (0:4), Philippines (0:8), Jordan (2:10) and UAE (0:1).
In the FIFA ranking the women’s national team of Tajikistan ranks 108th place in the world, having scored 1018 points.
