The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping over the tragic consequences of a landslide in China’s Sichuan Province.
The President’s message reads, in particular:
“Your Excellency,
I am deeply shocked by the news of human casualties caused by the consequences of a landslide in China’s Sichuan Province.
We share the pain of the friendly people of China at this difficult time.
I ask you, Mr. President, to pass on my words of deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims».
