SCO culture ministers meeting held in Astana
DUSHANBE, 05.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. 14th meeting of the ministers of culture of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries has ended in Astana, Kazakhstan on June 2, which was attended by the Minister of Culture of the country Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Culture of the country, during this meeting the prospects of cultural cooperation in the past and the process of implementation of the agreement between the governments of the SCO member states on cooperation in the field of culture were discussed.
It was noted that member countries will continue to strive for the strengthening of cultural ties, protection of cultural diversity and respect for different ethnic groups, promotion of the cultural traditions of the peoples of the member countries and exchange of cultural experiences between the countries of the Great Silk Road.
This meeting provided a favorable opportunity for the culture ministers of member countries to discuss relevant issues of bilateral and multilateral cultural relations.
