Ensembles “Lola” and “Sado” will represent Tajikistan at the China International Dance Festival
DUSHANBE, 19.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The V International Festival of Folk Dance will take place on July 20 – 30 in the city of Urumqi of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the country, in this festival Tajikistan will be represented by the State Ensemble “Lola” named after Gh. Valamatzoda and the Ensemble “Sado” of the Tajik State Philharmonic named after A. Juraev.
It should be noted that the State Ensemble “Lola” was established in 1965 and today is the best dance ensemble in Tajikistan. There are several dozens of dances, both folklore and modern styles in the ensemble’s repertoire.
