DUSHANBE, 27.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. As part of preparation for the Asian Championship – 2018 qualifiers, the national futsal team of Tajikistan will hold two friendly matches with the national futsal team of Uzbekistan. These matches will be held on August 5-6 at the Shohin sports complex in Guliston, Sugd Region, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

We will recall that in the Asian Championship – 2018 qualifiers, the team of Tajikistan will play in the Southern-Central zone in group “B” against the acting Asian champion — team of Iran, as well as with the team of Afghanistan. The team of Uzbekistan, which won the silver medals at the last Asian Championships, will play in the qualifiers against Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Nepal. The qualifying tournament will be held on October 15 — 17 in the Iranian city of Tabriz.

According to the regulations, from the Southern and Central Zone, the two best teams from each group will get berth to the final part of the Asian Championship to be held on February 6 – 18, 2018.
