Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan met with the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs
DUSHANBE, 22.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On July 20, as part of the his visit to New York for the High Level Political Forum-2017 the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Khikmatullozoda met with the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Sconomic and social Affairs Mr. Wu Hongbo.
The meeting discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and UN relevant agencies, especially the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), as well as exchanged views on current socio-economic issues and timely implementation of sustainable development goals.
NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations.
