Cooperation Agreement on attracting Chinese investments to priority areas of Tajikistan was signed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 22.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the ceremony of opening of the business circles forum of Tajikistan and Hainan Province of the People’s Republic of China took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Dushanbe.
According to the CCI press centre, the forum was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharif Said, representatives of the ministries and departments of the country and more than 100 entrepreneurs of the republic, as well as by managers and representatives of the 25 most influential companies of Hainan, operating in the fields of industry, agriculture and tourism.
It was noted that the purpose of the forum is to develop business contacts between businessmen and business circles for mutual cooperation between China and Tajikistan in the markets of the two countries, attract investments, modern technology and Chinese equipment to Tajikistan. This measure will facilitate the promotion of trade, the signing of favorable agreements on cooperation, creation of joint ventures and new jobs, as well as improving living standards of the population.
The issues of development of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, industry, agriculture, infrastructure, hydropower, pharmaceuticals, tourism and free economic zones were discussed at the forum.
During the forum, between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Department of Trade Development of Hainan Province of the People’s Republic of China was also signed a Cooperation Agreement on attraction of Chinese investments to the priority areas of Tajikistan.
